Prince's Trust at Bancroft

Recently Bancroft was lucky enough to be selected by the Prince's Trust for a 1 day project on the estate. This project involved landscaping and planting fruit trees on an unused peice of land in the centre of the estate. The team planted Apple, Pear, Plum and Cherry trees. At the same time they cleared a large area of overgrown plants and recovered the area with bark chippings. The results, as you can see from the photos are spectacular and will hopefully yield freshly grown fruit for local residents for years to come.

Bancroft Community Association would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to the Prince's Trust team that worked on the project. They all worked exceptionally hard and achieved an amazing amount in a day and we wish them every success in their future endeavours.
